I enjoyed the lovely breakfast served buffet style and appreciated the beautiful decor in my room, making my stay feel special after a day wandering the nearby landmarks like the Lola Montez House, just a short stroll away and the convenient cafes lining the main street.

I had a charming experience at Holbrooke during my recent trip to Grass Valley. The historic vibe resonated perfectly with my love for Americana. The staff provided attentive service, although some noise from the hallway was a minor distraction. A good stay!

One downside was that the room temperature was difficult to regulate as there was no thermostat or operable windows, which affected my comfort at night.

my stay at holbrooke was delightful! the purcell house room was super comfy and had thoughtful touches. the mini-breakfast with water and scones was a tasty surprise. the dining experience was stellar, and i loved the outside tables for a bite. the staff were friendly and accommodating.
